Introduction

This course is designed to give gas engineers an in depth understanding of central heating design concepts, system faults, electrical testing and safe isolation as well as boiler fault diagnostics and repair.

Entry Requirements/Pre-Requisites

Candidates must hold a valid and current CCN1 Gas core safety certificate as well as CENWAT1 boilers and water heaters certificate. This course has been designed for candidates who already have experience of working with central heating and combination boilers who wish to enhance their knowledge and practical skills.

Assessment

The assessment consists of a multiple choice question paper and a practical assessment.
